Job Summary

The client company is looking for an Advertising Account Manager who has strong media
background, strong relationships with clients, connecting with key business executives, answering client queries, and identifying new business opportunities among existing clients.

Job Description

  • Developing a solid and trusting relationship between major clients and the company
  • Resolving client issues, requests, and complaints
  • Managing communications between clients and internal teams
  • Developing communication strategy, media strategy, and planning to meet clients’ objectives
  • Negotiating contracts with clients and establishing a timeline of performance
  • Preparing and checking media plans & proposals, overseeing rates and fees applied
  • Establishing and overseeing internal budgets with the company and external budgets with the client
  • Working with internal department teams of media, creative, production, public relations, and respective team members dedicated to the same client account to ensure the client’s needs and expectations are met
  • Collaborating with the team to maximize profit by up-selling or cross-selling
  • Planning and presenting reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with team members, stakeholders, and possible use in future case studies or company training
  • Meeting all client needs and deliverables according to proposed timelines
  • Analyzing client data to provide customer relationship management
  • Expanding relationships and bringing in new clients

Job Requirements

  • Any Graduate with a minimum of two to three years of previous work experience in key account management, or relevant experience
  • Advanced computer skills, and experience with CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on superior Excel skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills must be a listener, a presenter, and a people person
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Encouraging to team and staff, able to mentor and lead excellent interpersonal relationship skills
  • In-depth understanding of company clients and their position in the industry
  • Able to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions
  • Ability to align team members & clients, with media strategies and metrics in new areas
  • Very strong account management skills, and ability to lead client conversations
  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to follow through on client contracts
  • Proven results in delivering client solutions and meeting sales goals

Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Holidays: Saturday & Sunday, Public Holidays
