Job Duties

Developing lesson plans and teaching materials that are aligned with the curriculum
Providing feedback to parents about their child’s progress
Communicating with parents about their child’s progress, behavior issues, and other concerns
Reviewing student test results and identifying areas for improvement
Conducting training sessions for new teachers on classroom management techniques
Creating a fun learning environment that engages students and encourages them to learn
Developing curricula based on current educational trends and making sure that they are implemented in the classroom
Assisting students with schoolwork outside of the classroom time, such as tutoring them in subjects they are having difficulty with
Preparing students for state tests and other assessments by reviewing material and conducting practice tests with them

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field
TEFL/TESOL certification
Proven at least (3) years of teaching experience in related fields
Native-level fluency in Mandarin Chinese
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese
Strong organizational and time-management skills

Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Holidays: Saturday & Sunday, Public Holidays
