Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience, preferably supporting C-Level Executives.
  • Experience and interest in internal and external communications, partnership development, and fundraising.
  • Experience in project management is preferable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and Social Media web platforms.
  • Ability to execute work with a diversity, equity, and inclusion lens.
  • Proficient in organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail.
  • Make appropriate, informed decisions regarding priorities and available time.
  • Ability to complete a high volume of tasks with minimal guidance.
  • Ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround.
  • Able to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.

Job Description

  • Business Development
  • Assist the Country Director in identifying new funding opportunities.
  • Assist and coordinate in sales and marketing activities of the BDC team.
  • Assist and support as necessary in the development of effective, high-quality proposals, reports, and project documents.

Project Management and Coordination

  • Assist in developing project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate among team members, stakeholders, and partners involved in the project.
  • Track project progress, monitor key performance indicators, and assess outcomes against established goals and objectives.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation, including reports, schedules, and other relevant records.
  • Engage with project stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are understood and addressed.
  • Prepare regular status reports and updates for project stakeholders, management, and other relevant parties.
  • Assist in addressing challenges and obstacles to keep the project on track, finding effective and innovative solutions.
  • Support in developing clear and effective communication channels within the project team and with external stakeholders if necessary.

Administration and Operations

  • Assist to Country Director in completing a broad variety of tasks and activities including managing an active calendar of appointments and meetings, coordinating detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas, etc.
  • Act as a bridge for smooth communication between the Country Director’s office and internal departments; demonstrating a good coordinator to maintain credibility and trust;
  • Act as a “barometer,” having a sense of the issues taking place in the environment and keeping the Country Director updated;
  • Oversee day-to-day office administration such as maintaining the office clean and tidy, and ensuring office supplies are sufficient, and well-functioning, etc.
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating events, workshops, and training.

Working Hours: 8:45 AM to 4:45 PM
Holidays: Saturday & Sunday, Public Holidays
