Job Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, advertising, business relations, public relations, communication or a closely-related field (a Master’s Degree and relevant proficiency certificates are preferred)
  • Two or more years of digital and social media marketing experience
  • A valid driver’s license
Job Descriptions
  • Launches and manages digital and social media presence on various platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, LinkedIn, and other relevant sites
  • Monitors any and all mention of the university found online; tracks alert and monitors social media sites around the clock via mobile devices
  • Manages online discussions and replies comments and messages in a timely manner, and crafts responses to blogs, social media sites and digital media platforms
  • Writes, edits, and manages all digital and social media related content
  • Conducts weekly editorial meetings to collect ideas from the members of the university community and team members, and oversees editorial calendar of upcoming stories
  • Builds strong relationships with members of the online community by providing constant, relevant, and newsworthy information on the digital and social media sites
  • Performs the collection, compilation, and analysis of online activity data; develops, writes, and presents comprehensive statistical and narrative reports
Required Competencies (KSA) 
  • Knowledge of digital and social media platforms
  • Knowledge of clear and creative writing (mostly in Myanmar)
  • Skills in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and other office related software
  • Skills in the use of content management software
  • Skills in social media campaigns planning and implementation
  • Skills in proofreading and editing
  • Skills in interviewing of students, parents, faculty, and staff to create content
  • Ability to create timely and newsworthy stories
  • Ability to gather analytical data, compile information, and prepare reports for presentations
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate creatively and effectively (in MM & EN), both orally and in writing
  • Ability to think out of the box
Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
Holidays: Saturday & Sunday & Public Holidays
