Responsibilities:
- Oversee and discharge project duties such as tender preparation, preparation of costing, Pre & Post Contract Administration
- Prepare cost estimates, drafting of tender documents, tender evaluation and contracts administration
- Responsible for the administration of budget, cost control and sub-contract and main-contract including Variation Order (VO) and settlement of final accounts.
- Submit monthly report for progress payment claim for all projects.
- Identify other potential claims based on review of the contract deviations.
- Handle issues including extension of time, terms and condition, loss and expenses claim etc
- Review and negotiate with the sub-contractors recommended by the project manager as and when necessary
- You must be able to purchase the necessary material for the site systematically.
- Must have good relations with government organization.
Requirements:
- BE (EP)
- Age (25 – 30)
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering and other equivalent degree
- Certificates in Quantity Surveying in preferred.
- Must be able to draw M&E Designs
- Be able to use Microsoft Office word, Excel
- Ideally 3 years of relevant working experience as Electrical QS (Tender of Project) in Construction Industry
- Candidates with more than 5 years of relevant working experience will be considered for Senior role
- Familiar with tendering, project cost control and contracts administration in M&E works
- Must be able to work in a team
- Must be able to travel
- Must be able to with stand work pressure
- Must be able to walk in and out of government offices
Working Hours: 9:00AM – 5:00PM
Holidays: Saturday (2:00PM (Half) & Sunday, Public Holidays
