Position Summary
The role is to contribute and provide the following expertise: Support application systems/ Support hardware, software, and network setup/Support systems improvements/updates/ Support internal users related to hardware, software, and network
Duties & Responsibilities
Preventive action:
- Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, and reviewing system and application logs.
- Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions
- Perform daily validation of backup data to make sure it can be recovered when required
- Perform regular file archival and purge as necessary
- Perform daily file transfer checking
Problem analysis and solving:
- Investigate the root cause of the issue and provide trouble-shooting
- Coordinate to correspond team or vendors to solve the issue when required
Simplify and process improvement:
- Seek ways to simplify the process with his/her IT knowledge or expertise
User Support:
- Installation and setup of the software, hardware, and network for users
- Restore lost data or files in the share drive when required
- Manage and setup role, login, and permission for local users in application systems and domain server
Reporting:
- Communicate regularly to his/her supervisor what are major issues and their current status
- Feedback the status to each user every time when receiving the issue or request
Documentation and training:
- Maintain a working knowledge of the major software applications, tools, and technologies and the network environment used regularly for business functions at the company
- Maintain and update of IT inventory including software, hardware, and network equipment
- Maintain installation of hardware and configuration procedures following the instruction of the IT team
- Maintain all related IT procedures or manual up to date
- Provide training and feedback to help users increase their technical knowledge and skills
System upgrade and rollout:
- Identify test plan before the system upgrade
- Testing of new patch or program before installation
- Coordinate to correspond team to upgrade new patch or rollout of the new system
- Apply new patch or version of software according to IT global policy
Others:
- Manage and prioritizes multiple and sometimes competing tasks, and manages project responsibilities as the IT team request
- Consistently meets deadlines and shows autonomy in completing tasks with some technical and management guidance
- Keep server room tidy without anything blocking access to the room or usage of facilities inside
- Financial Responsibilities, if applicable (e.g. cost, expense budgets, sales targets, etc.)
- All departments
- Other entities under the IT Team of the Group
- Other support teams including the IT Team of the Group
Qualifications
- Education: · Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information System, IT, MIS, or Related Field
- Knowledge and experience in Application Support for ERP or CRM or E-Commerce, LANs, and network equipment
- Knowledge of: SQL server and basic programming
- Good working knowledge of English (read, write, speak with ease)
- Experience: · Minimum 2 years experience in IT/MIS functions from multi-national companies
Skill - Computer literate and experienced with MS Office, ERP Support, and SQL Server Make recommendations and requests to obtain needed resources from other technical support areas or programming staff as required
- Competency: Positive attitude and ability to work with less supervision
- The ability to plan, initiate and implement change where necessary
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to accept responsibility and contribute to moving email forward
- A genuine interest in new technology, system, and process
- Experience in a team working
- Strong customer service focus and exhibits professional behavior with end-users and peers
- Creativity, problem-solving, and proactively seeking out process improvements, automation opportunities and cost reductions
- Ability to support in multiple locations when needed

Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:20 PM
Holidays: Sunday, Public Holidays
