Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of the Claims operating structure, insurance products, claims policies and procedures and claims systems/technology
  • Good Communication in English Language
  • Able to identify key issues; creatively and strategically overcome internal challenges or obstacles
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, (verbal and written) with competent decision-making ability
  • Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Can work well both as individual contributor without supervision and team members
  • Prefer candidates who can join immediately

Job Description

  • Support Shared Services leadership with planning, staffing, quality control, regulatory compliance, resource allocation and problem solving
  • Identify and eliminate operational barriers that impact efficiency and execution
  • Manage existing and new claims-related programs; ensures compliance with policies and procedures and participates in quality control initiatives and programs
  • Gather, organize, and analyse data or processes/practices in order to identify local issues, trends and opportunities; presents findings, options and recommendations to leadership
  • Manage projects which may include in-depth research/analysis
  • Support achieving and maintaining acceptable performance on all Internal Audit and State compliance measures including, but not limited to, key controls, state regulations, etc
  • May act as a liaison and primary contact for states regarding regulatory and reform issues and updates
  • Participate in various cross-functional working groups and ensures leadership is kept up-to-date on activities and impacts
  • Coordinate and/or assists with the facilitation of training workshops and programs

Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
Holidays: Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays
