Responsibility (Job Descriptions)

Source, evaluate, negotiate and purchase materials from local vendors
Check if the vendors’ quotations are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the project/item and prepare commercial comparison for user and management’s evaluation purpose
Handle daily operational purchasing needs such as preparing, issuing, recording, and following up on
Purchase Orders for both payment status and delivery status
Try to resolve supply, quality, service, and invoicing issues with vendors as instructed by the Manager and other senior team members
Assist in ISO Annual Performance Review for vendors
Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation
Report to the Manager and other senior team members as necessary
Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree required · Diploma or Certificate in Procurement or Supply Chain (Preferred)
At least One (1) year of experience in the purchasing and/or sourcing field
Good communication and negotiation skills with suppliers and internal customers
Resourceful, self-driven, proactive, and independent
Hardworking and meticulous with a positive attitude
Intermediate level in MS Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Able to communicate in English (Mostly Written, Preferred Verbal)
Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work well under stress in a fast-paced environment

Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Holidays: Saturday & Sunday, Public Holidays
