Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Over 5 years Procurement & Supply Chain Manager or similar role in the construction industry
  • Good command of English skills.
  • Oversee and manage the sourcing, purchasing, and inventory management within an organization.
  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers or vendors who can provide goods or services that meet the company’s needs.
  • Oversee and optimize the flow of materials, equipment, and services throughout the construction project lifecycle, collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective
  • procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution processes, ensure enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and maintaining a smooth construction project workflow.

Sourcing:

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives. Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate favorable terms and pricing with suppliers.
  • Establish an information platform by conducting market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends, supplier capabilities, and market conditions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and define sourcing requirements.

Procurement Management:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the timely availability of materials, equipment, and services.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish vendor relationships to secure favorable pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
  • Monitor supplier performance, conduct periodic supplier evaluations, and address any issues or non-compliance with contractual obligations.

Inventory Management:

  • Develop and maintain inventory control systems to optimize stock levels, minimize excess or obsolete inventory, and ensure the availability of critical materials at construction sites.
  • Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to forecast material requirements and facilitate timely replenishment.
  • Implement inventory tracking mechanisms, conduct regular audits, and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.

Logistics:

  • Coordinate transportation and logistics activities to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and supplies to construction sites. Collaborate with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to facilitate import/export processes, customs clearance, and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Optimize transportation routes, modes, and costs while considering project timelines, budget constraints, and sustainability objectives.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities within the supply chain, such as disruptions in the availability of materials, price fluctuations, or logistical bottlenecks.
  • Develop contingency plans, alternative sourcing strategies, and risk mitigation measures to address potential supply chain disruptions.
  • Monitor market trends, economic factors, and regulatory changes to anticipate and proactively respond to potential risks.

Supplier Relationship Management:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, including regular communication, performance evaluations, and issue resolution.
  • Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality, ethical, and environmental standards. Monitor supplier performance, track key metrics, and implement improvement initiatives as needed.
  • Identify and develop alternate or backup suppliers to mitigate risks and ensure a stable supply chain.

Contract Management:

  • Prepare and negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers, including pricing, delivery schedules, and service-level agreements.
  • Review and analyze contract terms, identifying potential risks, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with legal and procurement teams to draft and finalize contracts, amendments, and other related documentation.
  • Monitor contract performance, track milestones, and initiate contract renewals or terminations as necessary.

Working Hour : 8:00A.M to 5: 00P.M
Holiday : Saturday (alternate), Sunday and Public Holidays
