Job Requirements

B.E, B.Tech (Civil), Bachelor in quantity surveying, construction engineering
3-5 years of construction estimating experience or related field
Proficient in computer skills and related engineering software
Experienced at compiling and following strict budgets; strong estimating and financial analysis skills
In-depth understanding of construction, materials, pricing, and industry
Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
Team work, Time management skills, Good interpersonal skills
Good communication skill in order to liaise with different parts of the organization

Job Description

Estimate BOQ for RC, Steel Structure residential projects and quotation proposal
Prepare BOQ for tender and necessary documents for submission
Measuring, preparing and providing of variation order on sites
Search and inquiry the new contractors and suppliers
Set budgets for payments, inventory needs, and materials
Track changes in plans or constructions; update budgets
Keep track of construction materials and inventory
Prepare and record documentation for site progress, list of materials, and reports on project
Prepare progress claim for all projects
Check demand from site engineer
Analysis and evaluate of market price & material quality comparison
Follow up material management and contractor work done
Price negotiation with contractors and suppliers
Valuing completed work and arranging payments
Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations of construction project
The preparation of bills and schedules of quantities of materials, labor and services required in the construction and equipment of building, or engineering works
Prepare monthly budgets of projects with project team and monitor to ensure that project remain on time schedule and within budget
Collecting summary of monthly budgets
Assist and Report to Sr QS / Contract Manager
Performs other duties as assigned

Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Holidays: Sunday, and Public Holidays
