Job Requirements
  • A High School Diploma (a Bachelor’s Degree and relevant certificates are preferred)
  • Two or more years of graphic design experience
  • A portfolio of 30 graphic design materials that have been created for clients (no mock-up)
  • A valid driver’s license
Job Descriptions
  • Works with enrolment, marketing, and communication teams to promote the university, academic programs, student services, institutional activities, and special projects through graphic content
  • Conceptualizes, designs, and produces curriculum, training, and promotional materials such as booklets, flyers, posters, letterheads, envelopes, postcards, PowerPoint. Business cards, digital TV signage, campus signages, banners, social media, video graphics, advertisements, email signature, and other graphic materials
  • Designs and produces graphs, charts, clip art, line-art, and other digital designs
  • Produces technical and scientific illustrations for presentations and publications
  • Communicate with deans, directors, and faculty from schools and institutes to fulfill their graphics needs and deadlines
  • Serves as a liaison between the university and the printers/publishers
  • Coordinates the printing production process to ensure quality: sets printing and other reproduction specifications (such as ink, paper, and print quality); inspects proofs for accuracy; recommends contractors (offsets and printing houses)
  • Maintains a graphics or photographic library and digital records
  • Follows digital content guidelines of partnering universities and organizations
  • Develops university brand standards to present a consistent and unified outlook for all divisions, schools, institutes, departments, and offices
  • Establishes university graphic guidelines such as the logos, colors, typography, elements, and other brand assets
  • Maintains a consistent identity of the university by following the institutional brand standards and guidelines
  • Assists marketing and advertising officers in scheduling graphic content, monitoring public engagement, and managing a content calendar for social media channels and activities
  • Oversees and trains graphic design assistants and associates
  • Performs related duties as required
Required Competencies (KSA) 
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of graphic designs
  • Knowledge of graphic layout requirements and procedures
  • Knowledge of printing procedures, requirements, and techniques
  • Skills in the use Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop) and other programs
  • Ability to develop design and print specifications
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively (in English is preferred), both orally and in writing
  • Ability to receive constructive criticism and modify the design to meet the university’s need
  • Ability to have attention to detail
  • Ability to think out of the box
Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
Holidays: Saturday & Sunday & Public Holidays
