Job Requirements
- Willingness to learn new concepts is must
- Bachelor’s degree in any field and IT related certificates
- Prefer 2-4 years’ experience in the industry with implementing, operating and managing in a Standards
- Development Business or with a similar industry.
- Understanding of barcodes, EDI, data synchronization is an asset
- Experience in a customer-focused work environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English (Interview will be taken in English)
- Able to communicate with foreigners
- Previous work experiences of Retail and or Manufacturing industry as well as supply chain management technologies would be a plus
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite is required
- Able to travel
Responsibilities
- Report to CEO
- Issue barcode numbers
- Provides day-to-day technical implementation support for GS1 Myanmar initiatives (i.e. phone, email, face-to-face)
- Work with both internal and external stakeholders to design and implement programs providing effective access to relevant standards and implementation guidelines. This includes the development of standards-based training and education
- Develop necessary education material to support internal and external understanding of GS1 Standards
- Attend trainings, workshops, meetings in accordance with Central European Time Zone
- Learn new GS1 Systems and Standards to support the members
- Perform various other duties as delegated or assigned
Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Holidays: Saturday & Sunday, Public Holidays
