Job Descriptions

  • Under the leadership of the manager of the catering department, be responsible for the overall management of the management department, ensure sufficient and timely supply of clean tableware, and reduce the breakage rate of tableware.
  • Establish the safety, health and other rules and regulations of the management department and strictly implement them.
  • Formulate the annual budget for tableware and utensils according to the hotel’s business plan and the business situation of the catering department, and report to the manager of the catering department to control the use of cleaning supplies and reduce costs.
  • Regularly check the use of tableware in all relevant departments, formulate practical measures to reduce the breakage rate, and organize the implementation.
  • Make regular tableware inventory (twelve times a year) with relevant leaders of the catering department and the financial department.
  • Check the inventory status of tableware and utensils, and replenish them in time.
  • Ensure that the cleanliness of tableware and the brightness of silverware are evenly up to standard.
  • Daily checks and spot checks on the cleaning work of the dish washing class and cleaning class.
  • According to the operating situation of the catering department, do a good job in personnel deployment at any time.
  • Do a good job of regular training and employee evaluation, reward and punishment.
  • Frequently get in touch with the restaurant manager, banquet hall manager and head chef to coordinate work.
  • Strictly control the distribution of cleaning supplies to reduce consumption. 13. Supervise employees to use machines correctly and use cleaning agents and supplies rationally to avoid waste and ensure safety.
  • If there is a problem with the equipment and appliances, report it to the administrator in time and ask for repair.
