Job Descriptions
Leadership & Oversight
- Manage the finance and accounting team (Chief Accountant, AP/AR clerks, inventory accountant).
- Set departmental priorities and ensure deadlines are met.
- Act as the bridge between CEO and finance team.
Financial Operations
- Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly reports (cash flow, receivables, payables, sales, stock) are accurate and delivered on time.
- Implement segregation of duties and fraud prevention controls.
- Supervise invoice issuing, collections, and payments.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare management dashboards and financial summaries for the CEO.
- Provide insights on margins, expenses, cash flow, and growth opportunities.
- Ensure monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements are accurate.
System & Process Development
- Introduce/maintain accounting systems (Excel, Odoo, QuickBooks, etc.).
- Streamline reporting workflows for efficiency and timeliness.
- Establish SOPs for invoice issuing, stock control, and payment approvals.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/ACCA preferred).
- 7+ years’ experience in finance/accounting, at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong people management and process implementation skills.
- Hands-on experience with SME accounting, inventory, and reporting.
- Proactive, structured, and able to handle both detail and big picture.
Working Hours: 9:00AM to 5:00PM
Holidays: Sundays & Public holidays
