Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in finance and administration, preferably in the NGO or humanitarian sector.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices (experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software is a plus).
  • Familiarity with donor financial reporting (e.g., UN, USAID, EU) is an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills in both Myanmar and English languages.

  Job Descriptions:

 Finance Duties

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for all programs and operations.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, including expense reports, bank reconciliations, and budget vs. actual analysis.
  • Monitor project budgets and ensure compliance with donor and organizational financial guidelines.
  • Process payments, including payroll, vendor payments, and reimbursements.
  • Maintain petty cash in accordance with financial procedures.
  • Maintain proper filing systems for administrative and project documents both physically and digitally.
  • Manage office supplies, utilities, and administrative logistics (e.g., meeting arrangements, printing, filing).
  • Maintain stock records and asset registers for the project.
  • Assist in internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
  • Support in preparation of donor financial reports.

Administrative Duties

  • Maintain organized and efficient filing systems (both hard copy and digital) for all financial and administrative records.
  • Manage office supplies, inventory, and logistics for program activities.
  • Support HR tasks such as leave tracking, personnel file management, and recruitment logistics.
  • Coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements for staff and visitors.
  • Assist in organizing trainings, workshops, and internal meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.

Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Holidays: Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays
