Position Summary:

  • The Bancassurance Area Manager is responsible for overseeing the bancassurance business operations within a specific geographic area.
  • This role involves managing a team of bancassurance sales professionals, developing and executing sales strategies, building and maintaining relationships with banking partners, and ensuring that sales targets and compliance standards are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of bancassurance sales professionals to hit the target.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching to team members.
  • Organize and facilitate training programs to enhance the skills and product knowledge of the team.
  • Communicating for the conflict resolution with friendly manner.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve the bancassurance sales targets for the designated area.
  • Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies as necessary to meet or exceed targets.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with banking partners and key stakeholders within the area.
  • Collaborate with bank staff to identify customer needs and tailor insurance products accordingly.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts between bancassurance staff and bank personnel promptly and effectively
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Implement customer feedback mechanisms to continually improve service quality and customer experience.
  • Promote a customer-centric culture within the team and banking partners.
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in bancassurance, insurance sales, and banking.
  • Proven track record in sales and team management.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Office.

Preferred skills:

  • Professional certifications in insurance or finance.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of CRM software and sales analytics tools.

Working Environment:

  • Primarily office-based with regular visits to bank branches.
