Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Proven experience of at least 5 years in a managerial role within a paint manufacturing or related industry.
- In-depth knowledge of paint production processes, formulations, and quality control
- Extensive knowledge of manual batch process production and working in a chemical reactors production environment to high pressure and temperatures
- Working knowledge of colour and composition formulation, tinting and mixing processes
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication skills fluent in written and verbal English
- Computer literate
- Working knowledge of industry standards including 150.
Job Descriptions
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing resources and minimizing downtime.
- Collaborate with the planning and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of finished products.
- Implement and maintain stringent quality control measures throughout the production process.
- Work closely with the quality assurance team to address any deviations from quality standards and Implement corrective actions.
- Supervise and lead a team of production staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Manage the allocation of resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to ensure optimal production efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction initiatives.
- Implement best practices to enhance overall efficiency, safety, and sustainability in the manufacturing process
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for production staff.
- Oversee raw material and finished goods inventory levels, Implementing strategies to minimize waste and optimize Inventory turnover.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, Including R&D, sales, and maintenance, to ensure seamless communication and coordination across departments.
- Ensure usage of non-conforming/slow moving/customer returned product in respective product as instructed.
- Ensuring good housekeeping to boost employee’s moral. Prevent spillages and leakages by continuous supervision, training and instructions.
- If necessary Variable conditions will be increased or decreased in JDs.
- If necessary, also work on the additional work provided by the Manager,
- Make yearly Budget in Manpower, Production plan, equipment, Machine ETC. of production department to propose to Management team
- Warning and punishment staff that not follow company regulation
Working Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM
Holidays: Saturday (Alternate), Sunday and Public Holiday
