Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Must have 2 years’ experience in related field.
- Industry certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent are preferred.
- Proven experience as a Level 2 Network Engineer or in a similar network support role.
- Knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) best practices is a plus.
Job Specifications
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, such as TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, VLANs, and VPNs.
- Experience with configuring and troubleshooting network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools to proactively monitor network health and performance.
- Understanding of network security principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in network troubleshooting methodologies and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to handle complex network issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and end-users.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Descriptions
- Provide the highest level of technical support to internal and external customers.
- Problem analysis and root cause documentation for all issues.
- Identify frequently occurring issues and coordinate with Product Development\Infrastructure teams as needed.
- Work with all departments to facilitate issue resolution of problems elevated by our Technical Resolution Team or other internal teams.
- Review escalated issues to identify trends and communicate.
- Documentation and training participation when needed.
- Strong awareness of knowing when to escalate internally to management.
- Learning and staying up to date with product releases and environment changes.
- Participate in on call rotations.
- To do so if required by business requirements or HOD directives.
Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Holidays: Saturday (Alternate), Sunday & Public Holidays
