Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Market Expansion

  • Identify new market opportunities, channels, and territories for brand/product expansion.
  • Develop medium- and long-term business growth strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Evaluate potential distributors, partners, and strategic alliances.
  • Support market entry strategies, product launches, and geographic expansion plans.
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape.

Sales Research & Market Intelligence

  • Conduct comprehensive market, customer, and competitor research.
  • Analyze sales performance by distributor, channel, region, and product.
  • Track market share, pricing structures, promotions, and competitor activities.
  • Develop demand forecasts and sales potential assessments.
  • Provide actionable insights to improve sales effectiveness and brand positioning.

Distributor & Channel Performance Management

  • Evaluate distributor KPIs, coverage, execution quality, and sales effectiveness.
  • Identify gaps in distribution, visibility, and execution standards.
  • Support distributors with data, insights, and strategic recommendations (not direct selling).
  • Participate in distributor business reviews and joint business planning.

Strategic Planning & Commercial Support

  • Support annual business plans (ABP), sales targets, and budget planning.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on pricing, promotions, and trade marketing strategies.
  • Provide research input for product portfolio optimization and innovation planning.
  • Prepare management reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership.

Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Work closely with global / regional HQ, marketing, finance, and supply chain teams.
  • Align distributor strategies with principal brand objectives and standards.
  • Act as a key point of contact for market insights and commercial intelligence.
  • Support training or capability building for distributor sales and marketing teams where required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales analysis, or commercial strategy (principal / regional / MNC experience preferred).
  • Strong understanding of distributor-based sales models and channel management.
  • Proven experience in market research, sales forecasting, and performance analysis.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, and data analysis tools.

Working Hours: 8:30AM to 5:30PM
Holiday: Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays
