Job Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory kitchen role (resort or hotel experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations.
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- High standard of personal hygiene and grooming.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of resort operations and a commitment to service excellence.
Job Descriptions
- Ensure consistent high-quality food production and presentation.
- Supervise daily kitchen operations, cleanliness, and hygiene standards.
- Oversee mise-en-place preparation before service begins.
- Monitor food safety, labeling, and expiration of all products.
- Control kitchen inventory and food costs effectively.
- Coordinate and support special functions and resort events.
- Collaborate with the Food & Beverage team for smooth service delivery.
- Train, motivate, and supervise kitchen staff to maintain resort standards.
- Assist with scheduling and delegation of tasks to kitchen personnel.
- Handle guest complaints professionally, following resort policies.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and hygienic work environment.
- Conduct daily briefings and monthly team meetings.
- Ensure kitchen assets and equipment are well-maintained.
- Uphold resort’s brand standards, policies, and procedures.
- Adhere to ethical practices and local Myanmar laws.
Working Hours: 8 hours per day
Holiday: One day per week
