Job Requirements
• CA / CPA / ACCA (preferred).
• B. Com or M. Com in Accounting or Finance
• 8 years of accounting experience, preferably in jewellery, retail, or manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting and reporting
• Experience in inventory valuation and cost accounting
• Knowledge of Metal / jewellery accounting
• Proficiency in ERP systems (Tally, SAP, or similar)
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
Job Descriptions
• High-value inventory such as gold, diamonds, and gemstones
• Frequent gold and metal price fluctuations
• Import and export transactions
• Strict financial compliance and audit requirements
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Manage period-end closing processes and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Develop and monitor budgets and financial forecasts.
• Conduct cost analysis and profitability tracking for business operations.
• Provide financial insights and reports to senior management.
• Monitor and reconcile gold, diamond, and jewellery inventory.
• Track metal loss, wastage, and production variance.
• Ensure accurate inventory valuation based on market gold rates.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements.
• Prepare and submit GST / VAT filings and tax reports.
• Manage customs documentation and export/import financial records.
• Coordinate with auditors for statutory and internal audits.
• Implement strong internal control systems to prevent fraud or pilferage.
• Monitor financial transactions through ERP and accounting systems.
• Manage working capital and cash flow planning.
• Handle bank reconciliation and banking relationships.
• Manage gold metal loans and financing facilities.
• Oversee LC (Letter of Credit) and BG (Bank Guarantee) documentation for import/export activities.
Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Holidays: Monday per week
