Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in water supply or utility engineering projects.
  • At least 3–5 years in a senior engineering or management role.
  • Strong technical knowledge in pipeline design, hydraulic modelling, structural analysis, pump station design, and system integration.
  • Experience establishing technical criteria, policies, and system standards across multiple facilities.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, and government stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of international standards (AWWA, ISO, BS, etc.) related to water supply infrastructure.
  • Ability to manage complex technical teams and large-scale infrastructure designs.

Job Descriptions

Engineering Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team.
  • Assign responsibilities, monitor team performance, and ensure timely delivery of all engineering outputs.
  • Review and validate design calculations, drawings, hydraulic models, and structural analyses.
  • Support the professional development of junior and mid-level engineers through guidance.

Technical Authority & Decision-Making

  • Determine and enforce technical policies and standards for all facilities.
  • Establish and issue the Project Design Criteria, ensuring consistency across all design packages.
  • Provide clear, timely decisions on engineering matters including alignment selection, structure design, hydraulic considerations, and technical alternatives.
  • Serve as the final approver for the 90% design review, ensuring that all designs are complete, accurate, and ready for finalization.

Stakeholder Communication & Coordination

  • Coordinate with government authorities for approvals, permits, and regulatory compliance.
  • Engage with outsourced consultants, external designers, and specialist advisors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including project management, procurement, survey, and construction teams.
  • Represent the project in technical meetings, providing clear, professional explanations and justifications.

Technical Oversight of Design Works

  •  Oversee conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design of water supply pipelines, reservoirs, pump stations, treatment structures, and related infrastructure.
  • Review hydraulic modelling outputs, system simulations, and scenario analyses.
  • Ensure all design works follow project standards, local regulations, and international best practices.
  • Provide solutions to engineering challenges encountered during site investigations, alignment selection, or construction stages.

Quality Assurance & Documentation

  •  Ensure all engineering deliverables meet the required quality, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Review and approve technical reports, design notes, feasibility assessments, and calculation packages.
  • Maintain proper documentation for coordination meetings, design approvals, and project handover.
  • Ensure lessons learned and design modifications are properly recorded and communicated.

Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Holidays: Saturday (Half) & Sunday & public holidays
Benefits: Travel Allowance will be provided.
