Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in hydraulic modelling (fresh graduates with strong academic or software skills may be considered).
- Experience in water supply projects is an advantage.
- Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS or QGIS.
- Basic to intermediate skills in AutoCAD for drafting and interpretation of engineering drawings.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel (advanced), Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage large datasets and perform data cleaning and processing.
- Experience with Water GEMS or similar hydraulic modelling software is preferred
Job Descriptions
- Assist in the conceptual and detailed design of water supply pipelines, reservoirs, pump stations, and DMA zoning.
- Support senior engineers in preparing alignment options, design analyses, and technical justifications.
- Coordinate with survey teams and design engineers to update and maintain hydraulic models.
- Analyze pressure, flow, velocity, head loss, tank behaviour, pump operations, DMA performance, and other hydraulic parameters.
- Conduct fire flow analysis, pipe-sizing optimization, pump selection analysis, and network performance assessments.
- Identify model errors and resolve connectivity, data consistency, and boundary-related issues.
Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Holidays: Saturday (Half) & Sunday & public holidays
