Job Descriptions
• To lead and manage the organization’s emergency preparedness and response operations. The Emergency Response Department Head ensures that all emergency response plans, teams, and resources are in place and effectively coordinated to protect personnel, assets, and operations during emergencies such as fires, chemical spills, natural disasters, or other crises.
• Develop, implement, and regularly update the Emergency Response Plan (ERP).
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential emergencies and required response strategies.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure emergency procedures align with overall safety objectives.
• Lead the Emergency Response Team (ERT); assign roles and responsibilities.
• Organize regular training, emergency drills, and simulations for all employees and ERT members.
• Ensure 24/7 readiness of emergency resources, including first aid, firefighting, and communication equipment.
• Response Management
• Take command during actual emergencies, ensuring a prompt, safe, and effective
• response. Serve as the main point of contact for local emergency services (fire, police, medical,
• etc.). Activate and coordinate evacuation or shelter-in-place procedures as needed.
• Conduct emergency response training and refresher courses for staff at all levels.
• Develop competency checklists and ensure all ERT members are certified and capable Raise awareness about emergency procedures among employees and visitors.
• Ensure compliance with national and international emergency response regulations (e.g., local fire codes).
• Maintain documentation of all drills, training, and emergency incidents.
• Prepare reports on emergency readiness and incident investigations.
• Resources & Equipment Management
• Maintain inventory and functionality of emergency response equipment (eg, fre engine, fire extinguishers, PPE, emergency kits).
• Oversee the inspection and servicing of emergency systems such as alarms, extinguishers, and sprinklers.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Engineering, Emergency Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in safety, emergency response, or crisis
• management. Proven leadership experience in managing emergency teams and protocols.
• Certifications such as, First Aid, FSM are a strong advantage.

Working Hours: 8:00AM : 5:00PM
Holiday: Saturday (Alternate) , Sunday & Public Holidays
