Job Descriptions

  • Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) programs.
  • Ensure the reliability of critical equipment such as compressors, pumps, turbines, heat exchangers, boilers, and pressure vessels.
  • Lead root-cause failure analysis (RCFA) and drive corrective actions.
  • Plan scheduled turnarounds/shutdowns and major overhauls.
  • Manage power generation units (TG sets), substation operations, transformers, switchgear, and distribution networks.
  • Oversee steam systems, boilers, cooling towers, chilled water systems, and utility consumption.
  • Ensure energy efficiency across the plant and reduce power/steam cost.
  • Ensure all mechanical and power systems comply with ASME, API, OSHA/Factory Act, PESO, pressure vessel regulations.
  • Maintain documentation for statutory inspections and certifications.
  • Enforce strict adherence to safety procedures and mechanical integrity standards.
  • Lead mechanical and utility projects, plant modifications (MOCs), and debottlenecking initiatives.
  • Evaluate vendor proposals, equipment specifications, and engineering drawings.
  • Manage CAPEX budgets and project execution timelines.
  • Supervise mechanical, utility, and power house teams.
  • Train and develop engineers, technicians, and operators.
  • Coordinate with production, QA/QC, and EHS teams for smooth operations.
  • Prepare maintenance budgets, spare parts planning, and procurement forecasts.
  • Present performance metrics on MTBF, MTTR, downtime, power consumption, and maintenance KPIs.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering / Power Engineering.
  • Master’s degree (M.Tech / MBA Operations) – preferred.
  • Certifications in reliability engineering, power plant engineering, or maintenance management – plus.
  • 10–15 years experience in mechanical maintenance or power engineering within a fertilizer, petrochemical, refinery, or large continuous-process plant.
  • Minimum 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Hands-on experience with rotating machinery, boilers, turbines, compressors, high-pressure systems, and utilities.
  • Experience in shut-down/turnaround planning and project execution.
  • Knowledge of API/ASME/ANSI/IEC standards.
  • Expertise in mechanical integrity, vibration analysis, lubrication systems, and condition monitoring.
  • Strong understanding of power distribution systems (HV/LV), TG sets, and control systems.
  • Familiarity with CMMS software (SAP PM, Maximo, etc.).
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving capability.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a 24×7 plant environment.
  • Ability to work in field conditions: heat, noise, chemical plant environment.
  • Must follow PPE and safety protocols strictly.
  • Fit for working in high-pressure operational areas (boilers, power house, etc.).

Working Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM
