Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist with managing and maintaining the Managing Director’s calendar, scheduling meetings, and organizing appointments.
  • Prepare meeting materials, including agendas, presentations, and other relevant documents.
  • Act as a translator/interpreter (Burmese and English) between MD and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Translate business documents between English and Burmese and interpret at business meetings with internal staff, senior managers and external stakeholders.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, directing them to appropriate team members as needed.
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, travel, and events, ensuring all details are accurately arranged.
  • Help track and follow up on action items and deadlines from management meetings.
  • Maintain and organize filing systems (both physical and electronic) for easy access and retrieval.
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of expense reports, reimbursements, and other administrative duties.
  • Conduct basic research and compile information as needed by Managing Director.
  • Provide general administrative support, including office supplies management, data entry, and general office tasks.
  • Provide additional support to other team members as required.
  • Other duties if required for the benefit of the organisation.

 

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • 5 years of administrative or assistant experience preferred, and 1-2 year experience for the junior position.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Language skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Burmese
  • Ability to take initiative and show proactive problem-solving.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Business English communication skills are mandatory
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain adaptable.
  • A desire to grow within the company and take on increasing responsibility.

 

Working Hours: 8:30AM – 5:30PM

Holidays: Saturday & Sunday, Public Holidays
