Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master’s degree or CPA certification is preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within the construction or telecom industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.
- Experience with financial software and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools.
- Strong understanding of budgeting processes and cash flow management.
- Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
Job Descriptions
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Analyze financial performance to identify areas for cost control, revenue generation, and operational improvements.
- Provide monthly financial performance reports to senior management with actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with local regulations and international accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP).
- Lead the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts in collaboration with department heads and project managers.
- Monitor actual performance against budget and provide variance analysis with corrective actions.
- Review project budgets to ensure that financial constraints and profitability targets are met.
- Oversee cash flow management to ensure sufficient funds are available to meet operational and project-related financial obligations.
- Collaborate with procurement and project teams to track project costs, receivables, and payables.
- Optimize working capital by effectively managing receivables, payables, and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, corporate governance standards, and internal financial controls.
- Assist in internal and external audits to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Manage financial risks related to currency fluctuations, credit exposure, and project financing.
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team, including senior accountants and other financial staff.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and company policies within the finance team.
Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Holidays: Saturday(alternate), Sunday & Public Holidays
