Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Preferred qualification (completed or part-qualified): ACCA / CIMA / ACMA / CPA
  • 5–10 years’ experience in accounting & finance with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, Myanmar tax & compliance requirements.
  • Experience with hospitality or F&B accounting (inventory, menu costing) is a strong advantage.
  • Advanced Excel skills, experience with ERP systems and management reporting tools.
  • Fluent in English (business level) and Burmese with strong written communication skills.
  • Exposure to multi-entity consolidation and intercompany accounting is a plus.

 

Job Descriptions

  • Financial reporting & month-end close
  • Manage full month-end close cycle (journal entries, accruals, reconciliations).
  • Prepare and deliver timely management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with variance analyses and commentary.
  • Budgeting, forecasting & planning
  • Drive annual budget process; prepare quarterly reforecasts.
  • Provide rolling cashflow forecasts and scenario modelling.
  • Treasury & cash management
  • Oversee cash flow, bank relationships, payments and working capital optimization.
  • Manage intercompany settlements and FX exposure (if applicable).
  • Tax & statutory compliance
  • Ensure accurate commercial tax, withholding tax and corporate tax filings under Myanmar law.
  • Liaise with IRD department and statutory auditors; ensure on-time statutory filings.
  • Cost control
  • Work with operations (Hotels/ F&B / outlets / procurement) on cost-of-goods-sold (COGS) analytics, menu costing, margin improvement and supplier payment terms.
  • Team management & Internal controls
  • Lead and develop finance team (accountants, AP/AR)
  • Set clear KPIs, conduct performance reviews and provide on-the-job coaching.
  • Design/update SOPs, internal controls and approval matrices.

 

Working Hours: 9:00 AM ~ 5:00 PM
Holidays:  Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays
