Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree or professional qualification such as CPA or ACCA is highly desirable, and CPA certification is preferred. Experience:
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, including at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Experience in the manufacturing, trading, or distribution industries ins advantageous.
  • Knowledge: Strongly knowledge of IFRS, IAS, and applicable tax laws.
  • Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (eg; Odoo) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Technical: Excellent leadership, problem-solving, organizational and team management skills.

Job Descriptions

  • Produce accurate and timely financial reports and statements to provide insights into the organization’s financial status.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management reports for review by top management.
  • Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure data accuracy by reviewing reconciliations and accounting entries prior to reporting.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Requirements
  • Ensure all financial practices comply with statutory regulations, accounting standards (IAS/ IFRS) and internal policies.
  • Oversee accurate and timely tax filings and enhance compliance with financial regulations.
    Liaise with external auditors, tax authorizes and regulatory agencies to ensure smooth audits and inspections.
  • Develop, implement and maintain financial policies, procedures and internal controls to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Risk Management & Internal Controls
  • Identify, assess and manage financial risks to safeguard the organization’s assets.
  • Develop and implement effective internal control systems to ensure data integrity and prevent fraud.
  • Strategic Support & Collaboration
  • Provide valuable financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and contribute to achieve organizational goals.
  • Other Responsibilities
  • Stay up to date on market trends, economic conditions, and changes in regulations that may impact the organization.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by top management.

 

Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Holidays: Saturday (Alternate), Sunday & Public Holidays
