Job Description
OVERALL MANAGEMENT
- Oversee the end-to-end freight forwarding process, including booking, documentation, customs clearance (if needed), and delivery (if needed).
- Collaborate with both local and international partners such as carriers, forwarders, transporters, agents etc. to secure competitive rates and reliable shipping/transportation solutions
- Lead and mentor a team of freight specialists as well as providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure operational excellence.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all shipments, invoices, and documentations.
- Manage the sales and customer service teams to identify new business opportunities and provide exceptional customer support.
- Implement and enhance processes to optimize freight operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
- Stay up to date with industry regulations, compliance requirements, and market trends affecting global freight transportation.
- Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators such as shipment volume, transit times, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive freight forwarding strategy aligned with business objectives to meet the company’s revenue targets.
OCEAN (or) AIR EXPORT/IMPORT OPERATIONS
- Monitoring the shipments to ensure the compliance of regulations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures related to import and exports.
- Ensuing the efficiency and effectiveness of imports and exports.
- Monitor and analyze import/export data to identify compliance issues and take corrective actions.
- Monthly Report.
REPORTING
- Action follow up from Case Study outcome, discuss with concerned entity monthly.
- Identify improvement and optimization factors of the logistics operations by going regular performance review.
- Maintain records and statistics to ensure accurate reporting to BOD.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business management or any relate field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in freight forwarding services.
- Multicultural awareness, environmental awareness, problem solving skills.
- Strong command of English in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
- Salary will be negotiated based on work experience.
Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
Holidays: Saturday & Sunday, Public Holidays
