Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 12–15+ years of progressive experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, regulations, and project management tools.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Ability to travel and manage operations across multiple project sites.
Job Descriptions
- Strategic & Operational Leadership Develop and implement business strategies for the construction division in line with company objectives.
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Manage sales contracts and negotiations with clients and suppliers. Project Management Direct and Coordinate construction activities across sites, ensuring timely project delivery.
- Review and approve project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Monitor progress through regular site visits, reports, and meetings.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation plans to prevent delays or cost overruns. Financial Management Prepare and manage annual budgets for the construction division.
- Track project costs, approve expenditures, and ensure profitability targets are met.
- Optimize procurement and vendor management for cost efficiency. People Management Lead, mentor, and develop project managers, engineers, site supervisors, and other staff.
- Ensure effective workforce planning, recruitment, and retention.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Compliance & Quality Control Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Oversee implementation of quality management systems and building codes.
- Maintain compliance with contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements. Stakeholder Management Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities.
- Resolve conflicts, disputes, or escalations related to projects.
Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Holidays: Sunday & Public Holidays
