Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in business management and/ or Diploma in HRM or HR Certification or other relevant advanced degree.
• Handle confidential matters with discretion
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Bilingual skills Preferred (English and Myanmar)
• Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within Human Resources programs, HRIS Systems, employment laws and practices – Solid experience of People Management, Decision Making & Problem Solving
• In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices – Ability to handle sensitive and personal information with confidentia
Job Descriptions
• Overall responsibility of all HR Functions of the company.
• Create a strong company culture and look after employees and in return, have employees who are loyal to the company.
• Develop and ensure compliance of HR policies, SOPs & practices adhering to the labor law.
• Provide guidance to all HR function staff.
• Develop KPI functions and an objective based approach to promotions, increments, bonuses and promotions.
• Lead Succession Planning, Manpower Planning, Potential Risks & Proposed Solutions Support employee growth schemes as well as disciplinary action.
• Liaise with labor office of any legal or government matters.
• Alignment between Business Function & HR by participating strategic business discussions with respective functional head.
• HR Strategy and organizational culture Work with the HQ Management Committee to develop and implement an HR Strategy and to ensure that all aspects of the HR function promote an organizational culture of teamwork and service, high quality, transparency and accountability, innovation and inclusiveness. Take a lead role in transforming and strengthening the organizational culture, ensuring that the company values and approach are displayed.
• HR policies and procedures Develop, recommend and implement HR policies and procedures and ensure all HR policies and practices are aligned and updated with business objectives, strategies and Labor Laws of Ministry. Ensure all managers and employees are aware/acknowledge and practice all statutory Company’s policies and meet their obligations. Ensure all employee records are properly maintained in the system with up to date reporting structures, job descriptions, KPIs, attendance, leave, bonus, increments etc.
• Compensation and reward Work with the HQ Management Committee to ensure that compensation framework is reviewed and benchmarked with market rates to ensure attraction, motivation and retention of employees.
• Ensure clear KPIs are developed and implemented for all positions, based on their JD and the performance markers given by the department’s HODs in conjunction with third party advisors (if any). The KPIs will be the basis for any increment, promotion or bonus.
• Staff development, engagement and career progression Focus on talent development including the regular processes of staff appraisal and feedback, goal setting, professional development and career development to ensure that all employees have the opportunity to fulfil their career potential.
• Provide professional leadership, support and development to HR staff, in order to increase knowledge, share best practice and to ensure that relevant professional standards are met.
• Regularly coach, mentor and support senior and high potential colleagues to identify individual strengths and development needs, develop and maintain effective relationships and encourage retention.
• mproving performance Ensure the effective and timely implementation of the appraisal process, including mid and end of year reviews and support of the ongoing monthly meetings.
• Supporting HR implementation Guide and coach managers on employee relationship and HR issues in line with company policies and best practice, including disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence management
• Employee Relations: Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements and conducting investigations
• Handling employee complaints, managing grievance procedures, and facilitating counseling with the management. Investigating and resolving complex or critical employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Collating and analyzing employee feedback across all levels on a regular basis and revising people programs and policies to generate more positive outcomes.
• Participating in and/or leading projects focused on continuous improvement. To be a close contact to employees and understand their challenges and also help them to understand the company’s situation Drive the continuous improvement agenda with focus on engagement & welfare activities, maximizing productivity, devolving HR responsibilities to line managers and building leadership capability.
• Prevent strikes or major worker issues by maintaining a good relationship with key leaders in the workforce.
• Obtain their buy in and support for critical matters such as KPI grading or understand root issues and solve them before escalation into a worker strike. 8. Labor Law & Regulations:
• Budget: Manage Budgets for HR operations and costs for employee’s motivation activities and Company events. Review analyses of activities, costs, operations and forecast data to determine department progress toward stated goals and objectives.
• Reporting: Manage the execution of the HR Strategy and core areas of the HR department including Recruitment, Employee Relations, Workforce Administration, Employee Engagement, Payroll, Reward and Recognition, as well as maintaining and improving HR systems and management of the HR budget.
• Provide reports to the Management Committee on all areas of HR, Payroll and Learning and Development, including the application of Employment Law, HR policy, best practice and workforce development and provide decision support through HR metrics.
Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Holidays: Saturday,Sunday & Public Holiday Off
