Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Workforce Management
- Manage end-to-end HR operations for factory employees, including recruitment, onboarding, attendance, payroll coordination, and exit processes.
- Plan and manage manpower requirements based on production schedules and capacity planning.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Implement HR policies, SOPs, and procedures aligned with factory operations.
- Labor Law Compliance & Industrial Relations
- Ensure full compliance with labor laws, factory acts, safety regulations, and employment standards.
- Liaise with labor authorities, inspectors, and local government offices.
- Handle labor disputes, grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Support collective bargaining, union management, and negotiations if applicable.
Performance Management & Discipline
- Implement performance evaluation systems for factory staff and supervisors.
- Manage disciplinary procedures, misconduct cases, and corrective actions.
- Support line managers in performance improvement and workforce discipline.
- Ensure fair, transparent, and consistent HR practices across the factory.
Health, Safety & Welfare
- Coordinate with HSE / Safety teams to promote a safe and healthy working environment.
- Support implementation of workplace safety programs, audits, and compliance checks.
- Oversee employee welfare facilities such as canteen, transportation, dormitories, and medical support.
- Promote employee engagement and well-being initiatives within the factory.
Training & Development
- Identify training needs for operators, technicians, supervisors, and staff.
- Coordinate technical, safety, and soft-skill training programs.
- Support succession planning and development of factory leadership.
- Ensure training records and certifications are properly maintained.
HR Budgeting & Reporting
- Prepare and manage HR budgets related to manpower, overtime, and training costs.
- Monitor absenteeism, turnover, productivity, and labor cost ratios.
- Prepare HR reports and dashboards for management review.
- Provide insights to improve productivity and workforce efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of HR experience, with strong exposure to factory or manufacturing environments.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws, factory regulations, and industrial relations.
- Experience managing large workforces, shift systems, and blue-collar employees.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in HR systems, payroll coordination, and MS Office.
Working Hours: 8:30AM to 5:30PM
Holiday: Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays
