Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B. Com or equivalent), LCCI Level 3.
• At least 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in the oil and gas/petroleum sector.
• Strong knowledge of local taxation laws and petroleum-specific tax compliance.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting.
• Good communication and organizational skill
Job Descriptions
• Assist in responding to tax notices, audits, and correspondence with tax authorities.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
• Prepare and file tax returns (VAT, Income tax, etc.) in a timely manner.
• Maintain up-to-date records for audits and tax assessments.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
• Record and process accounts payable/receivable transactions.
• Liaise with vendors, customers, and internal teams regarding billing and payments.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Accountant Officer.
• Experience working with auditors or regulatory agencies.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
Holidays: Saturday, Sunday & Public Holiday
