Job Requirement
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent diploma/certification).
• 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
• Competence in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Job Description
• Assistant Accountants assist in the day-to-day running of the Finance & Account Department.
• They keep records of all transactions, and are usually responsible for the preparation of accounts receivable, invoices and petty cash.
• Assistant Accountants also maintain filing and invoice monitoring systems, and audit petty cash envelopes as well as carrying out other duties assigned by the accountant.
• Processing receipts, sales invoices, payments and Balancing accounts.
• Maintaining financial records which accurately record the business incoming and outgoing finances
• Ensuring that accounts are accurately monitored and recorded
• Answering the phone and reading/sending emails to clients
• Meeting and greeting clients when they come into the office
• Ensures purchase orders, receiving and invoices are matched
• Participating in the execution of accounting activities
• Preparing and monitoring the work planning.
• Identification and timely resolution of discrepancies in accounts; Follow-up of suspense accounts,
• Responsible for tasks relating to the preparation and maintenance of financial record
• Day to day management of the accounting. Commitments, Account payable and receivable, financial record-keeping
Working Hours: 9:00AM to 5:00PM
Holidays: Sunday & Public Holiday
