Job Requirements
- University degree. Preferred in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
- Fluency in English, plus others required by the organization
- Proficient in standard business office software
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Five years of professional work experience in Logistics Management at the national level.
- Ideally possessing a relevant professional qualification and suitable background experience in inventory management / Transportation
- Have a detailed understanding of MRP and inventory control/management systems
- Demonstrated independent work initiative,
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for a demanding and customer-focused working environment.
- Possess the ability to work productively, efficiently & effectively with initiative and drive under tight timescales and pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Able to make effective presentations to diverse groups
- Able to perform financial calculations and create and manage budgets
Job Descriptions
- Monitoring the quality, quantity, cost, and efficiency of the movement, storage of goods, and delivery process.
- Goods allocation and managing staff resources
- Liaising and negotiating with the dealer and the sales team;
- Developing business, analyzing logistical problems, and producing new solutions.
- Coordinating and controlling the order cycle and associated information systems;
- Analyzing data to monitor performance and plan improvements and demand;
- Control inventory levels through conducting cycle counts, physical counts, and supporting the inventory resolution process.
- Maintain warehouse physical condition through planning and executing new design layouts.
- Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates
- Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, or frequency.
- Create policies or procedures for logistics activities.
- Create, manage and achieve the overall logistics and customer service department budgets
Plan or implement material flow management systems to meet Customer requirements. - Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, customer service logs, or training or safety records.
- Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues.
- Monitor product import or export processes to ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirements.
- Supervise the work of the logistics Supervisor, Data Controller, Cost Controller, and all levels of the logistics team.
- Collaborate to provide steadily high levels of customer care service in a cost-effective approach
- Motivate, organize, and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure set product delivery targets are met
- Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing program operational and personnel policies and procedures
- Participate in personnel development at all levels through talent acquisition, performance management, providing opportunity for high performers, education, communication, expectation setting, and self-actualization
- Safeguard warehouse operations by establishing and monitoring security procedures
Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
