Job Description

Oversee and manage the entire fleet of trailers, ensuring optimal availability and performance.
Develop and implement maintenance schedules (preventive & corrective) for trailers.
Supervise in-house and third-party maintenance teams to ensure repairs are done to standard and on time.
Monitor trailer conditions and initiate inspections, safety checks, and servicing in accordance with company and legal regulations.
Maintain accurate records of trailer inventory, servicing history, maintenance costs, and utilization rates.
Coordinate with operations and logistics departments to schedule trailer deployment and minimize downtime.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and transport regulations.
Manage spare parts inventory and procurement for trailer maintenance needs.
Lead a team of mechanics/technicians and provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Prepare regular reports on fleet status, maintenance KPIs, and cost control.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, Transport Management, or related field.
At least 5 years of experience in fleet or trailer maintenance management.
Strong technical knowledge of trailers, axles, brakes, suspensions, and related systems.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Good knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance in transport operations.
Proficient in maintenance software and reporting tools.

Working Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM

Holidays: Saturday alternately, Sunday & Public Holidays.
