Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably within the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods), food, or beverage industry in Myanmar.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns that drove growth.
- Experience managing a marketing budget.
- Experience with the Myanmar retail and distributor landscape is a must.
- Digital Native: Expert knowledge of Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram for business. Experience with social media advertising and analytics.
- Creative & Content-Driven: Strong skills in creating engaging content. Basic skills in photo/video editing (e.g., Canva, CapCut) are a major plus.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret sales data and market research to make informed decisions.
- Excellent Communication: Fluent in Burmese and strong professional proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
- Strategic Thinker: Able to see the big picture and translate it into a practical action plan.
- Leadership: Ability to manage agencies (e.g., for video production) and potentially grow a small team in the future.
Job Descriptions
- Develop the annual marketing plan and budget to achieve sales and brand awareness targets.
- Conduct market research to understand consumer preferences, pricing, and competitor activity.
- Define Dakhina’s unique brand positioning and ensure it is communicated consistently across all touchpoints.
- Brand & Digital Marketing:
- Manage all brand assets (logo, packaging, labels) and ensure they comply with Myanmar FDA regulations.
- Develop and execute a digital marketing strategy including:
- Social Media: Create engaging content for Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram (e.g., recipes, behind-the-scenes, customer testimonials).
- Content: Manage the creation of photos, videos, and Burmese-language content.
- E-commerce: Explore and manage online sales channels.
- Trade & Retail Marketing:
- Develop sales materials (brochures, flyers, sample kits) for the sales team and distributors.
- Design and plan in-store promotions, point-of-sale (POS) materials, and merchandising strategies.
- Build relationships with key retailers and modern trade partners.
- Analytics & Reporting:
- Track campaign performance and sales data to measure ROI and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Provide regular reports on market trends, campaign results, and brand health.
Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
