Job Requirements

  • Must be University Degree in Engineering (Civil), Water resources Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management, with at least 3-5 years in Water Supply System Development.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably in Myanmar or similar markets.
  • Proficiency in Project-Management software and familiarity with hydrological and environmental for FSR preparation.
  • Extensive experience in preparing Feasibility Study Reports (FSRs) for infrastructure projects.
  • Willingness to work at project sites as required
  • Fluency in English (preferred) and Valid driver’s license.
  • Experience in project planning, execution, and control, including budget management and risk mitigation.
  • Have experience in at least one urban water supply project for detailed design of electrical works for water intake, water transmission pump station and water treatment plant.
  • Excellent Communication Skills, both oral and written and problem-solving skills.

Job Descriptions

Project Planning and Strategy:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in alignment with company strategy.
  • Prepare project budgets and monitor financial performance to ensure cost-effectiveness.

Feasibility Study Preparation:

  • Lead the preparation of Feasibility Study Reports (FSRs) for water supply system development projects.
  • Conduct technical, financial, and market assessments to evaluate project viability.
  • Analyze water demand, source availability, distribution network design, and operational costs.
  • Coordinate with hydrological, environmental, and economic experts to gather critical data.
  • Prepare detailed project cost estimates, financial projections, and risk assessments.
  • Ensure FSRs meet regulatory and investor requirements, including financial returns and sustainability considerations.

Project Execution and Control:

  • Oversee the implementation of water supply system projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor project progress against timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Implement effective project control mechanisms, including regular status reporting, milestone tracking, and risk mitigation.
  • Conduct regular project review meetings with stakeholders to ensure alignment and resolve issues proactively.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with project partners to ensure effective collaboration.
  • Prepare and deliver regular project status updates to senior management and other key stakeholders.

 Risk Management and Quality Assurance:

  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on timelines and budgets.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with relevant quality standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure project quality and compliance.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, contracts, and reports.
  • Prepare detailed project status reports for executive review.
  • Ensure proper documentation of project changes, scope adjustments, and lessons learned for continuous improvement.

Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Holidays: Saturday (Half) & Sunday & public holidays
