The Project Manager will be responsible for the complete management of construction and decoration projects, from planning to handover. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams.
Job Description
- Project Planning: Develop project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
- Resource Management: Allocate manpower, materials, and equipment effectively.
- Coordination: Lead communication between clients, consultants, suppliers, and site teams.
- Site Supervision: Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and environmental standards.
- Budget & Cost Control: Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to budgets.
- Risk Management: Identify risks and implement mitigation plans.
- Reporting: Prepare regular project progress reports for management and clients.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor site engineers and supervisors.
- Compliance: Ensure projects adhere to relevant building codes and regulations.
- Handover: Ensure project completion, final quality check, and client sign-off.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor of Engineering (BE – Civil) or Master of Engineering (ME – Civil) is mandatory.
- Master’s Degree in Construction Project Management is preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years working experience in construction project management.
- Proven experience handling large-scale residential, commercial, or interior decoration projects.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD).
- Solid knowledge of construction standards, methods, and regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and decision-making skills.
- Ability to travel to project sites in both Yangon and Mandalay when required.
- Strong command of English and Burmese (both verbal and written).
Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
