Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in diesel engine overhauls, marine or port-based mechanical systems, or heavy industrial maintenance.
• Proven leadership and field supervision capabilities, particularly in engine rebuilds or workshop coordination.
• Familiarity with Man Engine systems is highly preferred.
• Deep knowledge of mechanical assembly, inspection tools, torque and calibration procedures, and maintenance safety standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Burmese.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving ability under field conditions.
Job Descriptions
• Lead and execute the general overhaul of industrial diesel engines through direct management of an in-house or assigned technical team.
• Organize daily work plans, distribute tasks, monitor work quality, and maintain overhaul progress within schedule.
• Conduct or oversee disassembly, inspection, parts verification, reassembly, and commissioning of engine systems.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including parts condition logs, inspection reports, reassembly checklists, and torque specifications.
• Coordinate material requests, manage on-site inventory, and ensure proper handling of critical components.
• Ensure that safety, environmental, and operational protocols are strictly followed throughout the overhaul.
• In cases where operations are outsourced to a third-party contractor, supervise and coordinate all external activities, ensuring compliance with company standards and timelines.
• Communicate regularly with internal project stakeholders, reporting on technical status, issues, and necessary corrective actions.
Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
