Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • 5–8 years of experience in Sales/Trading, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven background in Textiles, Garments, or FMCG within the Myanmar market.
  • Familiarity with fabric types (Blantino, Spandex, Bamboo Spandex) is highly preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of the Lower Myanmar trade routes and industrial landscapes.
  • Strong negotiation and “closing” skills.
  • Proficiency in English and Burmese (written and spoken).
  • Experience with CRM software or mobile sales tracking apps.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure environments and meet tight deadlines.

Job Descriptions

  • Develop and execute a regional sales plan specifically for the Lower Myanmar geography.
  • Identify and onboard new wholesale distributors and garment manufacturers in industrial zones.
  • Monitor competitor pricing, product trends (fabric types, yarn, etc.), and local market shifts.
  • Manage, mentor, and track the KPIs of a team of Sales Executives and Territory Leads.
  • Conduct regular “market storming” sessions and join field visits to provide on-the-job coaching.
  • Set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the region.
  • Directly manage relationships with Tier-1 accounts (major garment exporters and large-scale wholesalers).
  • Negotiate high-volume contracts and credit terms in alignment with company risk policies.
  • Oversee the collection of accounts receivable (AR) and ensure the DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) remains within target.
  • Work closely with the logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery of textile goods across the region.
  • Prepare detailed weekly and monthly sales forecasts and performance reports.

Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
Holidays: Sunday & Public Holidays
