Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product development within the automotive or motorcycle industry.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication in English (both written and spoken).
- Experience with R&D in a motorcycle manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of homologation and RTA processes.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and product lifecycle management.
Job Description
- Lead the development of new motorcycle models from concept to mass production.
- Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to finalize specifications.
- Evaluate technical feasibility and market requirements.
- Plan and manage product development timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment on product goals.
- Ensure all prototypes and final products meet durability, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Analyze test results and implement design improvements.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and test reports.
- Maintain accurate records of product changes and engineering notes.
- Research new technologies and materials to improve product performance and cost
- Suggest and implement improvements in existing motorcycle models.
- Collaborate with suppliers for parts development and quality control.
- Evaluate component feasibility and cost optimization.
- Ensure compliance with local and international safety, environmental, and manufacturing
Working Hours: 8:15AM to 5:10 PM
Holidays: Sunday & Public Holidays
