Job Requirements

Maintenance Engineering Degree and Safety related certificate. Proven experience as a safety officer
In-depth knowledge of legislation (e.g. OSHA/EPA) and ISO procedures
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain warehouse maintenance and safety topics
Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
(3) years of professional working experience in safety and warehouse facilities maintenance.
Have a detailed understanding of safety and warehouse building structure
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possess the ability to work productively, efficiently & effectively with initiative and drive under tight timescales and pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality.
Able to perform budget calculations for safety and warehouse maintenance

Job Descriptions

Set up and develop the EHS policies and programs in the organization
Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics (use of machinery etc.)
Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures
Initiate and organize OHS training of employees and executives
Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy
Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to Management
Solving and fixing warehouse facility issues on various equipment
Evaluating, repairing, and maintaining plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and HVAC systems in the building
Receiving and responding to tenant reports of mechanical or maintenance issues on their premises
Maintaining the fire, smoke, and other safety systems within the warehouse premise
Prepare weekly and monthly reports for management
Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates

Working Hours: 8: 00 AM to 4: 00 PM
Holidays: Sunday & Public Holiday
