Job Requirements
- Maintenance Engineering Degree and Safety related certificate. Proven experience as a safety officer
- In-depth knowledge of legislation (e.g. OSHA/EPA) and ISO procedures
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain warehouse maintenance and safety topics
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- (3) years of professional working experience in safety and warehouse facilities maintenance.
- Have a detailed understanding of safety and warehouse building structure
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possess the ability to work productively, efficiently & effectively with initiative and drive under tight timescales and pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Able to perform budget calculations for safety and warehouse maintenance
Job Descriptions
- Set up and develop the EHS policies and programs in the organization
- Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics (use of machinery etc.)
- Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures
- Initiate and organize OHS training of employees and executives
- Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy
- Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to Management
- Solving and fixing warehouse facility issues on various equipment
- Evaluating, repairing, and maintaining plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and HVAC systems in the building
- Receiving and responding to tenant reports of mechanical or maintenance issues on their premises
- Maintaining the fire, smoke, and other safety systems within the warehouse premise
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports for management
- Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates
Working Hours: 8: 00 AM to 4: 00 PM
Holidays: Sunday & Public Holiday
