Job Requirements

Must have bachelor’s degree
At least 3 years’ experience in accounting.
Several years of accounting experience, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Peachtree), Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret financial data and identify trends.
In-depth understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations, including GAAP, IFRS, and corporate tax laws.

Job Descriptions

Oversee the accuracy and completeness of the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded.
Manage the prepare on of journal entries, reconditions, and necessary adjustments to maintain accurate financial records.
Supervise the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring melee invoicing and payment collection.
Manage and record commission income, including commission splits and revenue from policy sales.
Conduct credit evaluation of clients and manage the collection process to minimize outstanding debts.
Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring actual performance against budgets, and reporting variances.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits, providing necessary documents on and support.
Prepare and analyze weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring melee delivery and accuracy.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards, including GAAP and IFRS.
Prepare and file corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with all tax regulations.
Mentor and train junior accounting staff, fostering their professional development.

Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Holidays: Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays
