Job Descriptions
- Maintain and update daily accounting records in the accounting system.
- Prepare and review journal entries, bank reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payment to suppliers and collection from customers.
- Monitor daily cash inflow/outflow, petty cash, and shop expenses.
- Monitor and analyze food and beverage cost, wastage, and inventory variance.
- Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies with the store and kitchen teams.
- Review purchase orders, supplier invoices, and ensure accuracy in pricing and quantity.
- Prepare and submit monthly tax reports in compliance with local regulations.
- Prepare monthly P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports for management review.
- Provide cost analysis, sales trends, and profitability reports.
- Support management in budgeting and forecasting.
- Supervise and guide junior accountants and cashiers.
- Coordinate with operations and kitchen to ensure proper expense control and documentation.
- Provide financial insight to management for business decision-making.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years and above of accounting experience (preferably in F&B, restaurant, or retail industry).
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and taxation rules in Myanmar.
- Proficient in Excel and accounting software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skill
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under pressure.
- Good communication skills and teamwork spirit.
Working Hours: 10:00AM to 6:00 PM
Holidays: One day per week & Public Holidays
