Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience: 2–4 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, ideally within the mattress,
furniture, manufacturing, or home appliances sector.
Local Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Myanmar local market and business regulations.
Language: Fluency in Myanmar (Burmese) and professional proficiency in English (for international
supplier communication), Chines Language (Mandarin).
Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (for cost comparisons) and familiarity with ERP software (like
Odoo, SAP, or Sage).
Math: Strong numerical skills for calculating landed costs, discounts, and tax implications.
Competencies (Soft Skills)
Negotiation Power: A “firm but fair” approach to dealing with vendors.
Integrity: High ethical standards (procurement is a sensitive area for company finances).
Attention to Detail: Ability to spot a 1cm discrepancy in a fabric order or a hidden fee in a contract.
Problem Solving: Quick thinking when a supplier misses a deadline or a shipment is delayed at the port.

Key Responsibilities

Sourcing & Supplier Management: Identify and vet local and international suppliers for
fabrics, foam, springs, and timber. Maintain a “Preferred Vendor” list.
Negotiation: Secure the most competitive pricing and credit terms to optimize the company’s
cash flow.
Purchase Order Management: Process PRs (Purchase Requisitions) and issue POs
accurately within the ERP or manual tracking system.
Quality Control: Coordinate with the production team to ensure incoming products match the
technical specifications required for Cozy’s standard.
regarding import licenses,customs clearance (if importing materials), and timely delivery to the warehouse.
Inventory Coordination: Monitor stock levels to prevent “Stock-Outs” of popular mattress
models while avoiding overstocking of slow-moving items.
Market Analysis: Keep an eye on the rising cost of purchasing and logistic to suggest price
adjustments or alternative sourcing.
New Products Development: To provide recommendations for developing new products by
conducting market research and analyzing popular product categories, emerging trends, and
the specific Needs and Wants of consumers

Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:0 PM
Holidays: Sunday and Public Holidays
