Job Description

Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and tender documents for construction projects.
Conduct cost analysis, feasibility studies, and value engineering to optimize project budgets.
Evaluate contractor and subcontractor quotations, negotiate contracts, and prepare award recommendations.
Manage project cost control, progress valuations, variation claims, and final accounts.
Conduct on-site measurements and inspections to verify quantities and materials.
Monitor budget utilization, forecast project costs, and report deviations to management.
Collaborate closely with project managers, site engineers, and procurement teams to ensure financial efficiency.
Ensure compliance with company policies, contract terms, and relevant construction standards.
Reports directly to the Project Director / Commercial Manager.

Job Requirement

Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5–8 years of professional experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction or infrastructure sector, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and contractual frameworks (FIDIC, JCT, or equivalent).
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and cost management software (e.g., CostX, Candy, or similar).
Primarily site-based with regular visits to the head office for reporting and coordination meetings.
Occasionally required to travel between project sites as needed.
Coordinates closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Procurement Officers.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Attention to detail with strong organizational and documentation abilities.
Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.

Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
