Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, preferably in large-scale construction projects
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, analytical mindset, problem solving abilities, as well as keen interest and motivation in a high growth and entrepreneur environment
- A high level of integrity, dependability with a strong sense of urgency and result oriented
- Significant experience in managing the cost and commercial aspects of large projects, including both pre-construction and post-construction phases.
- Proven ability to manage and mentor junior quantity surveyors and coordinate with other project stakeholders.
Job Descriptions
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility studies.
- Manage tendering processes including preparation of BOQs, tender evaluations, and contract negotiation.
- Advise on procurement strategy and contract selection.
- Conduct cost planning and value engineering exercises to ensure budget compliance.
- Monitor project budgets and report on cost variances.
- Manage subcontractor/supplier payments, claims, and variations.
- Prepare interim valuations, final accounts, and cost reports.
- Administer contract terms and advise on contractual issues and disputes.
- Ensure compliance with financial and legal obligations.
- Lead and mentor junior quantity surveyors and support staff.
- Analyze project performance and recommend corrective actions.
- Identify and mitigate commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Holidays: Saturday(alternate), Sunday & Public Holidays
