Position Summary

  • The role involves providing system & technology support services to various business units in Head Office & Branch Offices users. Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role, and should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. This role should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users. The goal of this role will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Building, designing, and deploying end-user workstations and servers in Windows and Linux platforms.
  • Design, layout, allocation, and implementation of Server and Storage environments to physical and virtual infrastructure. (e.g., VMWare, Hyper-V etc.)
  • Design and implementation of complex Active Directory environment (Windows Server 2016 and above) focusing on cross-domain functionality, GPO driven policies, user/group management and file server management.
  • Recommend and Implement any Server software maintenance, patching, and performance tuning to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Coordinate updates, outages, maintenance, and other potential service impacting activities which could disrupt the availability of critical systems.
  • Ensure server, network systems and end-user PCs are well secured and protected.
  • Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks.
  • Analyze critical logs, investigate, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide root cause analysis.
  • Build, package, and implement Operating System Images and Ancillary software.
  • Work with Project Management teams, and service providers to ensure solid designs and solutions to maintain secure and highly available systems.
  • Deploy appropriate backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Maintain adequate IT documentations, covering infrastructure, inventory, service subscriptions and contracts.
  • Configure services such as DHCP, SMTP, DNS, IIS, XAMPP, FTP etc.
  • Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
  • Evaluate, recommend new technologies and improve IT operations automation.
  • Provide daily reports to Head of Infrastructure on incident related activities.
  • Any other duties as directed by Head of Infrastructure.

Requirements
Experience

  • In-depth working knowledge and experience in Information Systems Infrastructure, Vendor
  • Management and Service Management.
  • Advanced Hands-on experience in Firewall, VLANs, SD WAN, Endpoints and VPN
  • Configuration is a must have knowledge.
  • Familiar with SAN, NAS and LTO Storage Solutions.
  • Preferably with Advanced knowledge in Cloud Computing Services such as AWS, GCP,
    Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker or Cloud Infrastructure Deployment and Administration is advantageous.
  • Salary is up to around 10L to 15L depending on experience.

  • Intermediate Level in English.
  • Adaptable and capable of working in fast-paced environment and working well under pressure.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Technology and Computer Science with at least 5years relevant working experience with hands-on knowledge.
  • Have relevant Microsoft Certifications and CCNA is an added advantage.

Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Holidays: Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays
